GlobalKeyz EMM is an enterprise mobility management product of Nusuk Software LLP. The iOS companion is intended for authorized organizations managing organization-owned supervised Apple devices. It provides administrator readiness, product information, and support experiences. Apple device management is performed by an organization’s server through Apple-supported MDM protocols, not directly by the iOS companion app.
Information the Companion May Process
Depending on the version and features made available by an authorized organization, the iOS companion may process:
- The organization server or workspace address entered by the user. The app may store this address on the device so the workspace remains connected.
- Read-only HTTPS requests and responses used to check whether an organization’s Apple MDM readiness service is available.
- Account or session information if future authenticated, read-only administrator features are introduced. Any such information will be used to authenticate the user, protect authorized access, and provide the requested service.
- Technical diagnostics such as app version, operating system version, timestamps, network or request status, and error details used for reliability, security, and support.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to connect the companion to an authorized organization workspace, provide readiness and support information, secure access, troubleshoot errors, maintain service reliability, and respond to support requests.
Apple Device Management
The iOS companion app does not perform direct lock, Lost Mode, location, or device-control commands. It does not directly supervise or control an iPhone or iPad. Where an authorized organization uses Apple MDM, management applies only to its organization-owned supervised Apple devices and is server-driven through Apple-supported MDM protocols.
Information Sharing
Nusuk Software LLP may share information with service providers only when needed to host, secure, maintain, diagnose, or support GlobalKeyz EMM, or when required by law. Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use companion-app information for advertising or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Retention
The workspace address remains on the device until the user disconnects the organization or removes the app. Server-side readiness, account, session, diagnostic, and support information may be retained only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and comply with legal obligations for the service. Retention may also be governed by the authorized organization’s agreement and policies.
Security
The companion requires HTTPS organization addresses and is designed to avoid displaying Apple MDM credentials or certificate material. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but Nusuk Software LLP uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed.
Your Choices
Users can disconnect an organization workspace from within the app to remove the locally stored server address. Questions about organizational account information should be directed to the organization administrator. Privacy questions and eligible access, correction, or deletion requests may be sent to GlobalKeyz EMM support.
Children’s Privacy
GlobalKeyz EMM is a business service for authorized organizations and is not directed to children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the iOS companion and related services change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
